The American Institute for Foreign Study (Australia) Pty Ltd opened its Australian office in 1999 and began offering its Camp America and Au Pair in America programs to young Australians. In 2005, AIFS commenced offering inbound programs and currently facilitates cultural exchange programs for more than 2,000 young people.
Located 3 hours from Brisbane, this cattle station will give you a hands-on farming experience. These practical skills will give you an immersive introduction to working on a functioning cattle and sheep station, and give you some of the basic tools you need to find work in the agriculture sector. An excellent stepping stone if you're looking at helping out in the fruit picking and farm work industry.
The package includes all meals, accommodation and all activities along with plenty of opportunities to meet friends. Each group is limited to 20. Nights will be filled with campfires and a well-earned dip in the pool after a day on horseback.
