The American Institute for Foreign Study (Australia) Pty Ltd opened its Australian office in 1999 and began offering its Camp America and Au Pair in America programs to young Australians. In 2005, AIFS commenced offering inbound programs and currently facilitates cultural exchange programs for more than 2,000 young people.
Each year, U.S. Camp Directors come to Australia to hire staff for their summer camps.
For Camp America 2026, the Job Fairs begin with our Virtual Fair on 20 September, then Melbourne on 6 December and Sydney on 7 December. Whether online or in person, it’s your chance to connect with directors, ask questions, and get hired on the spot!
